Zone 6 Gardeners of Pittsburg will accept applications for 2013 garden grants from non-profit organizations. Deadline for applications is April 20.
Grants are awarded o n the basis of need and community beautification. The club has been organized for 13 years, and members strive to beautify the community as well as educate.
Applications may be obtained online [click here] or by calling Janice Evans, chairman, at 231-5484. Anyone needing additional information may also contact Evans. Completed applications must be returned to Evans at 508 W. Craig Road, Pittsburg, Kan., 66762.

Garden Club Meeting: March 25
Join us on Monday, March 25 for our March garden club meeting at First Christian Church, 705 E Centennial Dr. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
